Portion size For Normal Weight Loss>

When you are looking for normal weight loss not a fad diet, the easiest way to lose weight is to cut calories a little here and a little there. Here at Dans Healthy Weight Loss we try to give you tips on a daily basis that will lead to normal weight loss of 1-2 lbs per week.

Order a small instead of a medium. Go for the smaller-sized burger instead of the large, choose a hamburger rather than a cheeseburger. Grab a smaller handful of candy, make a box of candy that you would normally eat in a half hour, last for a week. Eat a piece at a time, enjoy the taste, you don’t eat candy to get gull.
All these little changes add up in big ways!

Avoid the fat. Fat calories add up quickly, so cut them when you can. Buy tuna packed only in water, do people still get tuna in oil? Skip the oil altogether if you’re sautéing onions or mushrooms. Use herbs and spices for flavor instead of margarine, or spreads. But use butter if you like the taste. You won’t even notice the difference!
Use a smaller plate. You’d be surprised how just a few bites of food can suddenly become hundreds of calories saved, and that will add up over time!

Get the REAL thing instead of concentrate! Fruit and vegetable juices can be loaded with calories, especially if they contain sugar! Choose the whole fruit or vegetable instead. Not only will you save tons of calories but you’ll get a lot of valuable fiber!

Skip the extras. Dressings or at least use low calorie low sugar salad dressing, croutons, cheese, mayo, sour cream: All these extras — even the low-fat varieties — can add up, even in small portions. Forget about them! You can do it!

If loosing weight matters to you a normal weight loss of 1-2 lbs per week is the way to go. Stick it in your head, normal weight loss of 1-2 lbs. Be the tortoise, not the hare. Slow and steady wins the race.
